15 Day Challenge [Day 3]

[Day 3]: Tell us about an article of clothing you’re attached to.

Golly, that is a really hard one. I have recently moved to Dallas from Waco and right before moving I took a good look at my closet and got rid of a bunch of stuff that I didn’t wear anymore. Even though I still kept a bunch of clothes I came to the conclusion that I am not completely attached to any of the clothes in my closet. I do have one particular piece of clothing at the house that I am somewhat attached to, but it is not in my closet: My Framed Baylor Volleyball Jersey.

This is the jersey that I actually played with my last season at Baylor. I hope they washed it before framing it…lol

I got this jersey in 2006 at my senior night with the volleyball team and after playing for the Baylor Bears from 2003-2006. I have not put it up in the office yet, but I will. This framed jersey is very meaningful because it represents the time I have spent at Baylor, all of my experiences, all that I have grown, all the people I met during my stay in Waco, and also the catalyst for me living in the United States.

The picture of the seniors receiving the jerseys on senior night.

If it wasn’t for Baylor Volleyball recruiting me out of Brazil I would not be here and I am very thankful for being here, experiencing what I have experienced, learning what I have learned, and meeting the people I have met.
